Bothell is a wonderful community approximately 15 miles Northeast of Seattle.  The city offers several major employers, a variety of housing options, plenty of outdoor activities and a "small-town feel".

 The major employers in Bothell include AT&T Wireless, ATL Ultrasound, Washington Mutual, Brooks, Matsushita, Icos, Phillips, and The Seattle Times.

Bothell Homes

 Whether you are looking for new homes, acreage, condos, or your first home Bothell has a large variety of housing options.  If you would like to discuss the area and housing options, feel free to contact me directly.  The median home price for the area is $424,950. The median income is $62,500.  The median home price is approximately $50,000 lower than in Seattle, and the median income is approximately $12,000 higher than in Seattle, making Bothell a great value for those relocating to the area. Things to Do

Bothell is a great place to live if you enjoy outdoor activities.  The city has 23 parks, nearby waterfront, golf courses, and walking trails. 

If you enjoy shopping Bothell offers several options such as County Villagefor antiques and crafts, Mill Creek Town Center with several boutique stores and dining options, or nearby Alderwood Mall.

Bothell Education

Bothell is part of the award-winning Northshore School District.  There is also a University of Washington Branch Campus and Cascadia Community College.

The Highs and Lows of Snohomish County (for October)

It's time again to take a look at the most/ and least expensive homes sold in Snohomish County in the Month of October.  First for the low end; this 3 bedroom, 1.75 bath home in Gold Bar sold for $111,360 after 269 days on market. Th most expensive home to sell in Snohomish County  is an Edmonds 4 bedroom, 5 bath new construction home with 6000 square feet that sold in just 20 days. The sweeping views of Puget Sound made this home a steal at $2,120,000.

Snohomish County Real Estate Snapshot (for September)

Real Estate in Snohomish County has warmed up a bit over the last couple of month, but I think it is interesting to look at the most and lest expensive homes sold in the last month. The least expensive is a cabin in Index, WA. The cabin was listed at $45,000 and sold for $42,000 after 456 days on the market. It does not have running water or septic and is 120 sq ft. The most expensive home in the market, sold in August was listed at 2,250,000 and sold for 2,050,000. This home is lakefront in Lake Stevens and has 4470 sq ft. August Stats have not yet been released, but in July of 2008, 422 homes sold with a median price of $337,750. This is down from July of 2007 when 968 homes sold with a median price of $356,625. Currently there are 5953 homes on the market in Snohomish County.

The moral of the story:

It's a great time to be a buyer in Snohomish County! Home prices are dropping and inventory levels are high. Snohomish County offer a great standard of living with affordable prices for the Seattle area. Please feel free to contact me with questions about Snohomish County Real Estate!
